Jason joins us from Norton Rose Fulbright Canada.
The focus of Jason’s career has been representing brand name pharmaceutical companies in Patented Medicines (Notice of Compliance) proceedings and patent infringement and validity actions. Jason has represented many brand name pharmaceutical clients during his career. Most recently, Jason successfully represented Gilead Sciences at trial in a patent impeachment action against Idenix.
In addition to pharmaceutical patent litigation, Jason has also acted in patent cases involving the oil and gas industry. He also represents clients in trademark, copyright and trade secret litigation.
Jason’s experience, legal knowledge and advocacy skills place him among the top intellectual property litigators in the country. His expertise has been consistently recognized by his peers and clients, including in publications such as Lexpert, Chambers and Best Lawyers in Canada.
